If you came to Norway as an asylum seeker or resettlement refugee and have been granted protection (asylum), you can be issued a refugee travel document. A refugee's spouse, cohabitant and children can also be granted a refugee travel document.

If your application for a permanent residence permit or an application for a long term stay abroad has been denied, you can appeal the decision.

You have been granted a residence permit as an au pair.

If you have been granted a study permit, you can now travel to Norway and start your studies.

Please check whether you need a residence permit to work on board a Norwegian ship or a foreign ship in Norwegian waters.

If you have received a letter of expulsion and you are subject to an entry ban, you can appeal the decision. After you have left Norway, you can apply to have the entry ban lifted.

If you move, you must tell the police. If you don’t tell the police, you may lose your possibility to get protection in Norway.

If you are staying in Norway without a legal residence permit, you must return to your home country. You can apply for support to return home with the National Police Immigration Service and start a new life in Gaza.

If you were granted dual citizenship when born, but do not live for at least two years in Norway or for at least seven years in Nordic countries by age 22, you must apply to keep your Norwegian citizenship.
